This week, I am do some research about Amazon affiliate program. Do you know amazon? I think most of you know about the website but not familiar with amazon affiliate program. This program not a new program for me but I don’t take it seriously. Just put the link code at my blog and it is not worked. No buyer and it means no commision money for me..
As a make money blogger, amazon affiliate program is one of target to earn money. I keep on search and gather more information . From my research, there are important thing to be done :-
1. Research the competitive product from amazon.com website. Not all product worth to promote. Some of
2. Related to your niche. Promote product based on your article topic and put some link in the content. Don’t put the link at the beginning of content, let the link at the end of content. The possible conversion is more than link at the beginning.
3. Select the suitable way of your link. In Amazon program there’s many ways to create link such as :-
• Recommended Product Links : this system allows you to display several product images and descriptions based on your key words You can also control the size of the display box and its appearance that are suit with your website.
• Search Box: You can place a search box on your site that lets people search the Amazon website. .
• Omakase Links: Omakase comes from a Japanese word meaning, ‘ I’m told, leave everything to us’. The system will tell what your webpage is about and display products relevant to your content.
• Context Links: This method allows you display text links within the body of your article which lead to relevant products or pages on Amazon.com.
• Slide Show: Basically, you select products that you want to show and they are then displayed in a rotating slide show. The movement of the products is sure to get everyone’s attention, which increases the chances they will click on them
• Unbox Videos: This method allows you to display studio movie trailers and previews of TV shows available for download from Amazon.com. This method is well suited to a movie review site or a site devoted to a particular actor.
The best type is recommend product link / search box because the potential of customer is high than others type. But it depends on situation and the way potential customer.
4. Using associate amazon program. It make our jobs more easier, but sometimes you must invest it . There’s many associated program to try such as associate-o-matic software. Using this software you can build a standalone store or add a shopping area to an existing website or blog.
I’ve found that amazon is not an easy way to make money but why don’t you try. I don’t think it will waste more money, maybe it take time, but it is important to try. Who’s know maybe you can become a success amazon affiliater..

Selam ( Hello – Amharic (Ethiopia, Israel, Egypt) [informal])
Last Wednesday, I was banned from a popular forum website. It is sad for me because I have planning to become an active forumer. I like that forum website because it create more opportunity to make money online and give useful information for me (I will share the opportunity soon).
This is a lesson for me, to become more careful about their rules Sometimes the moderator banned you based on other forumer report. In my case, I’ve using spam in the forum. I’ve spent about 2 hours to find what mistakes I’ve made and found because I’ve reply thread with short sentences. I don’t know who identify my sentences as a spam and the account has been disabled. It is not an easy task because I must create new account and started back from zero to increase my status. I have post about 40 post using that account and it means I get 40 backlink at the website. It is not much but it takes time for me to post again.
But that’s just a life of website forumer, banned is one learning process to make you better. Do you have any experience facing same problem? Let’s share it.
p/s :- This is short article for this week. I just planning tasks and target for October. I must make some serious changing in my blogging planning and I will share my blogging journey soon.

Domain name is important if you are using a website / blog to make money online. A selection for domain name depends on the blogger /webmaster itself. As one of them, I’ve found many types of domain name. :-
1. Using name for the domain. It is easiest because some of name is unique, but avoid it if your name is very hard to remember. For example, if your name is ‘Arnold Schwarzeneger ‘, then it is not good to using arnoldschwarzeneger.com for the domain. It is not SEO friendly, very hard to remember, too many text. Give short domain such as arnoldcute.com. Cool and easy to remember.
2. A related niche. Some of blogger/ webmaster, create domain name based on their niche blog/ website. For example, autoblog is the blog about automotive. Using the domain name, readers know what type of the blog. It is good for readers to remember.
I’ve make mistake in my car blog ‘ http://rear-wheel.com’ . The name is good and related to the niche but adding the symbol ‘-‘at the words is not good. If you want to select a domain, avoid this mistake. It will affect your SEO.
3. Domain without any meaning. Sometimes blogger / webmaster just select a word for their domain without any related niche.
4. Similar to others domain. The idea from popular blogger/ webmaster will inspire others to do similar name. For example, Johnchow and johncow is quite similar.
Okay that the type of domain blogger / webmaster choose. Now, back to the topic why choose the current domain. I am choose poorblogger.net domain because of related niche and similar to problogger.net. I’ve also used the word because it make me motivate to change my life as a small blogger who earn a bunch of dollar to become rich blogger that get thousand dollar as a target.
I hope this domain name will give more prosperity for me..
