Broken English beat Native English Speaker

Category : blog

Fofo (Hello – Zjerma (Niger language) )

One of the difficulties in make money online is about the language. As we know, English the most popular language in the cyberspace. If you want to earn money online writing in English a must.

When I start writing for this blog, a question whether I can or not writing in English. I’m not native English speakers or an English teacher. My English result is not good and I know that’s my weakness. But from my journey through others blog, I learn and make this as a challenge.

Many of readers/ authors are not really fluent in English. Some of them just use broken English in their writing or comment. The important part in writing is to make sure your blog/website is easy to understand.

In my point of view, a non-native speaker still can beat native English speaker in this way :-

1. Some of nature speaker English used long sentence. Based on my experience, most of readers prefer a simple and short writing. Like I’ve said before many of readers not very fluent in English and they don’t like long words which make times for them to understand.
2. It is about survivor. A native English speaker though their language is perfect and don’t have to improve. A writer which is have difficulty in language will learn and improve themselves (that what I’ve do now). Most of non-native speaker give an extra learning because they know the competition is hard.
3. The non-native English speaker more careful in his/her writing. It can make minimal errors in words and sentence. Maybe non-native speaker make error on grammar, tense and etc but most of their blog is easy to understand.
4. Non-native English speaker using direct sentence. It is because they can’t elaborate to make the great sentence.

That’s my article for today, for me English language is universal. It is not about you get Grade ‘A’ in your class or you are an English teacher but the structure of word that attract readers. There’s a room for us to improve in writing. Keep on writing and we will be success.

I strongly disagree with this. I´ve just read this article and your English is very poor. I couldn´t simply read it all because of many grammatical errors you made. So if you want to succeed in blogosphere I ´d recommend you to improve your writing English skills otherwise people would be going away and never coming back just as I´m gonna do now. By the way, I´m also not-native English speaker…

ONE IMPORTANT THING I LEARNED ONLINE IS “never exposed your weakness”. ESPECIALLY IF ITS ONLY YOU WHO KNEW IT OR IF IT’S NOT THAT OBVIOUS.

WHEN YOU DIDN’T HAVE IMPRESSIVE TRAFFIC.
WHEN YOUR ONLINE EARNINGS SUCKS.
WHEN YOU’RE NOT GOOD AT ENGLISH.
etc……

parehas lang tayo, salamat pre !
