I’ve mention on my past post that forum is one source to make money online. This is not popular method and not all of Internet Marketer knows about it. Only the active forumer know this make money online.

Maybe some of you still confuse about the relationship between signature and forum. Signature in forum a sentences or picture at the below of your post. Still can’t understand? Okay I’ll show the image later. But before that continue your reading..

When I found this type of make money online, the first question from my mind is why the advertiser throws their money for this kind of advertising? Then, after go to seminar and do some researches I get some answer.

Leaving links in a signature is to get visitors to the website list there instead of backlinks. The high traffic forums can bring a fair amount of visitors and thatt’s why people sell a ‘space ‘ in their signature for a monthly fee. The length of a signature is limited based on the varies of the forum.
The signature will changed in all the posts the author made. It means the old post also change. If advertiser buy signature from a forum member with 5,000 posts in different threads, the link will be posted on 5,000 different pages. It will help to get more backlinks and traffic.

Tips to make money using signature?

1. Not all of forum gives you tools to leave a signature with html code. Check it at user control panel. If it not provides the html code then leave the forum. It won’t help you to earn money. There’s many forum provide that code.
2. Sign in the forum that has a discussion board about ‘link sales’, ‘Buy Sales Link’, etc. I’ve found 2 best forum, digitalpoint and warriorforum. There’s a lot forum has this feature.
3. Do some posting regularly. When you reached 200 posting above you can try to sell your signature space.
4. Set your price. It depends on you but for 200 -300 posting, the price is about USD 5-8. It is cheap but your work also easy.
5. Negotiate with the ads. This is like common business. You must have good public relationship. It is not difficult like conventional business. You don’t have to face your ads, just private message with him/her. Within 2-5 conversation you can get the money.
6. After you accept the offer, make the link at your signature at the time and show them that you’ve place their link. Then remind him on good behavior if you don’t receive payment in week. It is an easy work.. If he/she doesn’t pay you after that just remove the link. Never scold him/her with bad words. It will give bad reputation to you.

There’s 2 factors that those webmaster / marketers look at when buying signature links, reputation and numbers of post.

How to know your reputation?
Most of the forum will show level of your status. It depends on the admin but most of them will give you higher level if you active on the forum discussion. The higher status you get, more advertiser will recognize you. Number of post is the important criteria to advertiser. There is to ensure that signature will bring more traffic/ backlinks.

Okay if you’re new to forum. This is User Control Panel, very important for promoting website/blog , get identity, earn money. Even active forumers don’t take this tool seriously. Now, you know it can make money then maximize this tool.

Selling links in the signature forum won’t bring big money. But if you are an active forumer, it can give you extra money. So why don’t you try?
